You could craft arrows with wind charges that can hit and damage the breeze. This could be a possible opening for fletching table functionality.

I think the viduals are great (I especially love sound design on this one) and the ease of use is spot on. It's entirely possible to perform jump busting while still leaving a possibility to improve your skills. On speed and damage I dont have a strong opinion yet.

One thing that I would like to add on top of that is that you should consider making breezes easier to farm.(without necessarily making trial chamberst themselves more challenging) Think of it similarly as with giving the warden loot, which was done kind of separately from its core design in order to make the catalyst renewable.

Please don't ruin this like you did the copper bulb. I swear if I see a change log that reads "increased wind charge cooldown" and it prevents players from chaining jumps...

As this item is now, it's amazing. Blast jumping? In MC? And it's not just a gimmick, it actually works really well? It opens up so many creative possibilities and it's well balanced due to its source. It could use a little polish*, sure, but it's honestly in quite a fun state for being the first iteration.

Please, do not go the route of making this item a worthless gimmick.

Note: I have spent way too much time rocket jumping in other games.

*Chaining jumps feels a little inconsistent, and it comes down to four things:

    1. Minecraft's player momentum is a bit... weird? It's a combination of how quickly you slow down and the weak air control. Not sure if this should be changed, though. Maybe a potion that reduces air friction and increases air control? Could use wind charges for the recipe.

    2. The blast radius feels a little small for use on yourself, but that may just be down to my muscle memory being tuned for different blast jumping mechanics, plus issue 3.

    3. The range of knockback you get from your own blast is wild. Basically none at the edge and tons at the center doesn't feel great. Clamping min and max to, Idk, 50%-80% current power might be a good solution.

    4. The projectile comes out of your head and is really fast, so it's very hard to get it beneath your feet when you try to chain a jump off a wall.

It would be interesting if, when you throw the item on a block above, the Wind charger throws you down faster, accumulating damage. You could use this to make your friend die from fall damage

I think it would be nice if wind charge came out of the vault in the trial chamber.

Amazing item! Movement tech in Minecraft is always welcome! My only complaint is that the charge should do more knockback against mobs specifically.

The Allays should really be thrown around by the breeze charges. It would be cute if they got blown around and were confused for a little bit.

We had SO MUCH FUN testing out the new wind charge! This is yet another 'game changer' for those of us who build mini-game maps! I love also how the item looks like a 'wind rosette' ... very distinct!

The item is quite difficult to obtain a large quantity of (and a large quantity of this item is how it's best used) so here's the idea I have:

When a breeze shoots a charge, the player can right click the breeze projectile with a bottle to "capture" the wind charge. In your inventory, it appears like a bottle filled with a strange liquid.  When you right-click this bottle, the bottle would function just the same as the charges already do, except with a glass-breaking sound to indicate the bottle of wind has shattered.

This idea could also be replicated with another item like amethyst shards or a bucket (the bucket wouldn't be consumed or filled so you can stack charges)

This item's horizontal launching capabilities are quite lacking. Throwing it beside yourself or a mob barely does anything. A horizontal momentum buff would be nice.

They are good, but very hard to obtain. My suggestion is to make them appear in chests or vaults to make them more easy to obtain.

Right now in combat this item is mostly useful to stall the opponent, relies heavily on a nearby pit, or relies on entities having very low health. But it could be pretty fun if it was a proper weapon that relied only on knockback/fall damage/a bit of aiming skill.

Removing the contact damage (or keeping the contact damage, but shifting the focus completely would be interesting), and increasing the knockback would be a fun way to go about it. Of course, with the properties of taking fall damage below the blast point, that wouldn't lead to fall damage on flat terrain. But if it launched entities high enough and long enough that you could air shot them, it would reset the fall damage calculation from the new blast point. A skilled player would be able to chain a few air shots with good predictive aim, and it could introduce a unique form of combat.

It may be more or less effective than simply using other ranged options (probably less effective considering how much skill it would take to juggle), but it's fun idea to have fall damage based combat (assuming there's open air and the opponent can't save themselves from fall damage), and it would be fun to watch a skilled player use it like this. This could also be used cooperatively to boost a friend to a higher/further area.

Wind charge can be a craftable item,a new Breeze's drop needs to craft that. Such as Blaze is.

wind charges shouldnt deal that much damage but it could add a new affect that knocks the wind out of you , you would deal less damage and would occasionally have slight nausea

A great rocket jumping item for parkour maps but the consumable, limited uses is a problem. Try creating an infinite breeze charge tool, like hookshots common in open world games. It'll make parkour maps more smooth without the player having to restock charges.

As of now, wind charges are easy to use but hard to obtain, being exclusive to trial chambers. If you made breeze farmable, maybe by making them spawn somewhere else in the world, or even just in a normal dungeon, it would be easier to get wind charges, and therefore incentivise their use.

new drop for the bogged: this is a very simple idea, basically the bogged, when defeated, would drop a different type of bone with this item the player could make a new bone meal even more powerful than the other, even with the flour the player could create a new block of fungal bone and it doesn't end there since we have fossils spread throughout the overworld, the fossils that appear in the swamps instead of taking the normal bone block would have this new block in its place.

I found an issue, it seems that the wind charge passes completely through any non-full block. This is including but not limited to things like chests, stairs, and doors.

It would be nice if you could attach these to arrows using maybe a Fletching Table.

It seems like using a wind charge before crashing into a wall with elytra works as a way to reduce the kinetic damage, but I'm not entirely sure because it feels kind of inconsistent.  If this interaction is an intended feature like I'm kinda hoping it is, then I think some tweaks to make the timing window for throwing the wind charge at the wall a bit more forgiving would be nice.  If this is not intended, I personally would suggest making it intentional, because it would be a pretty useful item for people who like using elytra but have trouble avoiding crashes.  Honestly even if this doesn't end up being a mechanic for wind charges, I still think it would just be good to implement some form of protection from kinetic damage (like maybe a new elytra enchantment).

What do you guys think about wind charges being activatable (is that a word?) by other projectiles? This page's image shows someone wind-jumping and holding a crossbow. This immediately made me think of the speedrun capabilities of charging a crossbow, jumping off a cliff, and shooting a quickly thrown wind charge. If that doesn't sound epic, I don't know what does.

I think they should be more like Fire Charges in that you craft them out of an equivalent to Blaze Powder dropped by the Breeze instead of directly dropping the Wind Charge

Change Fire charges to have a 3d model and to be thrown by the player like Wind charges

This is an interesting item but surely it makes potions of leaping obsolete and I don’t want this. They both get used up but wind charges would be a lot easier to get because you can find them in the Overworld. I’m not saying that wind charges are bad but surely this means that less players are going to use potions of leaping particularly because of the amount of advantages wind charges have over potions of leaping when travelling around the Minecraft world. Also, I don’t think that wind charges should boost players that are in the water. We already have the Riptide enchantment for that. I hope this makes sense.
