Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Brittle ore

As we progress in a Minecraft world, our old tools become useless as we get better ones. Gold tools are especially forgotten. But what if there was an ore (or perhaps just a block in general) that REQUIRED a pickaxe just strong enough but not TOO strong to break it? Maybe it needs a gold pickaxe? It would add a new meta to golden pickaxes as they're typically skipped over.
