I think that it would be a good idea to add sharks to Minecraft. Mojang has said that they will never add sharks to Minecraft (Which is false, because Great White Sharks are featured in the new Planet Earth III). Mojang has said that they will not add sharks to vanilla Minecraft because they are endangered but so are polar bears and they are even more endangered. Monjang has also said that they don't want to encourage the killing of sharks, but they have allowed another endangered specie, sea turtles, to be killed in return for bowls, when killed by lightning. Mojang's reasons for not adding sharks are very weak. They have said that, first, they are endangered, and they don't want to encourage going up to sharks and killing sharks in real life, but they have added polar bears, which are hostile and endangered, dolphins which can be hostile and are endangered, wolves, which are also endangered and can be hostile, and there are many other endangered mobs that are included in the game.
Sharks will not hunt player but instead only attack when provoked and once or twice randomly when around a player. The shark will not drop anything so there is no incentive to kill it. They will be able to spawn in all ocean types, except frozen ocean types. Sharks can be found alone or in large spread out groups. They would not be able to be leaded, they would take damage when out of water, and would not be able to be breed by a player.
Please take my ideas into consideration, Thank you.
