Continuing from Part 1: When at the cab of the locomotive, a small Water meter, Coal meter, Throttle stepping meter, Brake meter and speed meter would show. These engines would take very little time to learn for new and experienced players. Carriages would carry up to 4 players, and would look a lot like this real life carriage. Wagons would look a lot like this and could carry up to a Double-Chests worth of Cargo. Flat cars would look a lot like this. Now some of you reading this may be thinking "Well Minecraft is a blocky game, how would grades and turns work? Won't the train look awkward making such a sharp incline/decline or turn?" Well, that's why I think we could use the Brush to brush down gravel (which would obviously be the roadbed) by gradual declines, and when you place the track on the slightly shorter gravel block the track would go up or down slightly depending on the Incline or Decline that the block is placed at and how brushed off it is. Now for curves, I feel like Minecraft could manage adding radius tracks; although the grid-like block placing Minecraft operates around would present this as challenging and would have to be up to the developers to try and figure out. This whole update idea is merely a suggestion that I hope gets built off of and changed to better fit Minecraft. I really think Steam power has a place in this game, it's just gonna take a lot of clever ideas to make it work in a Minecrafty way. I hope this intrigues people!
