Quarterstaffs are made entirely of wood. They’re a lot thicker and longer than regular sticks. The top end is a bit thicker than the bottom. It would deal more damage than a wooden sword but would last just as long. If you press the button that you use to place blocks, open doors, etc. the player holds the Quarterstaff in both hands and the Quarterstaff can be used to block anything e.g. punches, projectiles, etc. Once its hit, the player lets go of the Quarterstaff in their left hand and you can’t use it to block any more until a cool down of 5 seconds ends before you can block again. You can still use it to attack. Quarterstaffs are flammable. If you use it to block against someone using fire aspect or flame enchantments, the Quarterstaff sets on fire and its durability runs out faster. There is even a chance you set on fire. Enchantments exclusive to Quarterstaffs could include an enchantment that reduces the cool down for blocking and an enchantment that stops the Quarterstaff setting on fire.
