I know that iron farm have been a debated topic for a long time, whether or not they are to overpowered.
Personally I believe that constant and effortless generation of one of the game's most important materials is way overpowered, however that is not my reason for posting here. I believe that iron farms are very tragic and uncomfortable to think about. Much like villager slavery camps, you are basically taking an innocent and unless provoked, entirely peaceful mob and slaughtering or abusing them on mass for personal gain. I see iron golems as soldiers, defending their villagers, their people from whatever seeks to hurt them, much furthered by the fact that they drop poppies, a symbol of respect for fallen veterans in my country. Which leads to my suggestion, just remove them dropping iron. I understand that it would be a very divisive decision, but I believe overall it would be a good change for the game and it's playerbase. From my head canon the villagers came to take away their fallen soldiers, leaving a poppy for their rememberance. Dropping the body of a soldier who died for their own village seems cruel, and disrespectful in a way. The poppy should stay, as I don't believe that people would abuse that drop, and it is respectful of the fallen soldier. Thank you for reading my suggestion.
