The Bolt: a new electrical mob found in trial chambers.

The Bolt is a new electric elemental mob like the Breeze that's found in Trial chambers.

  • It has yellow bolts of electricity moving around it and dashes at high speed, making it difficult for the player to hit.
  • Prior to attacking, the Bolt will charge up, indicated by a really low speed and texture tweak. It will then bolt at a high speed in a straight line at the Player, dealing a lot of damage. The player must prepare to skilfully get away from its charge attack, though running or moving in the opposite direction last second. It is kind of like running away from falling anvils.
  • It will go back to its ordinary state a few seconds after its attack before charging up and bolting again.
  • Maybe it could drop electric charge, used with copper to make the Bolt rod: a new weapon that allows the player to dash a few blocks forward, doing damage and knockback to the entities it charges into.
  • The Trial Chambers need more challenging unique mobs, as well as special rewards, and the Bolt would add just that.

    I feel like it should be a rare spawn during thunderstorms and should drop a shock rod instead of electric charge. Then you could craft it into electric powder which can be used with my fletching table idea to get arrows that will give charge to blocks like copper damaging all mobs touching it, as well as using it to craft batteries which output consistent power as long as it's charged using lighting or Redstone dust.
