I think it would be an amazing idea to add new weapons and armor that not only gave more variety to the player but would also affect things such as damage output, weapon speed, damage absorption, and movement speed. It would give more ideas to expand the creative boundaries of Minecraft and would be a much-needed update to the same weapon and tool system that we've had for many years now. Adding new things such as katanas, scimitars, greatswords, daggers, war hammers, and new bows. It would also be pretty cool if you added sets of armor from different realms and ancient civilizations. I believe this would dramatically increase people's interest in the game. Now, I know that I'm probably less than qualified to state my opinion but Minecraft is a game I love and would love to see grow even more in the future and I just wanted to add my voice to those asking for these things.
