The new attributes added in the 23w51a snapshot (generic.step_height, generic.block_interaction_range, and generic.entity_interaction_range) as well as the already existing attributes are great tools for mapmakers and creators alike. However it would be neat to have the ability to modify attributes on some entities that aren't supported by these commands (e.g. boats and minecarts.) It would be fun to be able to add a custom attribute to these entities that by default don't use it, for example making boats have a step height of 1.0 allowing boats to scale terrain (And even allowing for uphill ice boat racing in vanilla Minecraft) (Or mini minecarts if you so desire!)
It would make sense to add support for this as other non-living entities already support this feature such as armor stands, on these you can set a custom scale already or even add a custom step height despite the default being 0.0 similar to boats and minecarts.
