Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Corn: Let’s discuss!

Corn is an important part of everyday life, and it would fit in perfectly with minecraft. You could obtain corn from the plains biome by breaking cornstalks. You would then get a corn-cob that you could eat. You could even make corn mazes and trails with the stalks, and a neat feature would be that if you broke the bottom or a layer of the stalk the top would fall of like bamboo. This could fit perfectly into the dry and barren plains biome.

    I agree with corn and corn mazes and corn cob. Like bamboo, it should not be something you can walk through. I also thought it would be good in the plains. Instead of breaking like bamboo, though, I thought it would be neat if the whole stalk(which would be 2 or 3 blocks tall) would stay in tact, allowing you to put it elsewhere for decoration. Once you mined it up, it would turn yellow instead of greenish yellow. Each stalk would take up 2 spots, so you could have a stack of 32. And another idea I think would be great: you can make corn out of the cobs, which you could then plant, OR, make popcorn in a furnace.
