could not connect: outdated client

I am trying to play minecraft with my kids: we have 2 PCs, and 1 XBOX. The XBox version is running 1.20.50 and the PCs are running 1.20.41. The PCs cannot and will not update to the latest version so we can all play together. Also, I now cannot log on to my realms because they are running a new version and my PC is outdated. I have been through the settings, xbox app, windows store app, and everywhere else I can think of. Even when I uninstall the game and reinstall it, it loads 1.20.41 and NOT the .50 version.

    Check the PC update version, not just the Minecraft. Be sure it is on Windows 10 or 11.
