I’m just here to put a pack of armadillos in a habitat and name them all.

I'd just like to make a suggestion to also make armadillos spawn in jungle and sparce jungle biomes as they can not just be found in savanna environments but can also be found in the amazon rainforest and in lush tropical environments irl! This would also give a bit more life to the minecraft jungles just like it did with the badlands!

Mojang, make the armadillo’s head roll UNDER itself like in the trailer, NOT sticking out on the side.

I've heard alot of people complain about the wolf AI making the wolf-armor useless.

I would suggest that wolves simply stay closer to you and stop attacking when leashed.

Having my wolf safer with a leash, like in real life, would be a simple way to make us less scared of them dying randomly.

Thank you so much for making the armadillo texture change so the eyes are on the side of the head! It looks so awesome!

Hi! The armadillo is very cute and it's been fun to interact with so far. I know it seemed like people wanted fancier animations now after the sniffer, but I find that the current wobbling looks very stuttery (almost like it's just vibrating), since the armadillo is a mob that moves at a normal pace, as opposed to the sniffer which is very slow.

I do believe it is right for the armadillo's back to move in a more simple, straightforward manner. However, if the new animation must remain, I hope it can be tweaked. If you need some sort of animation to make it livelier like the new direction, you could make the ears move when the armadillo runs (like it is in the pixel art concept) =]

Why not re-add a copper horn to issue commands to wolves? If you look up and blow the horn, the wolves will teleport to the player. Additionally, if you blow the horn while crouching, all the wolves will sit down simultaneously.

How many people would like the Armadillo to be replaced by the Crab? I personally will not take my Wolves out even if they are equipped with the strongest Wolf Armour so Armadillo Scutes and Wolf Armour would just be items I collect and waste chest space with. I also think the Armadillo should be removed because Mojang never added Fireflies because they are poisonous to Frogs when Frogs eat them. As Armadillos are practically poisonous to people and wolves, they shouldn’t be added for the same reason as Fireflies weren’t added. Adding the Crab would also benefit every Minecraft player, even those who voted for the Armadillo. It’s a bit unfair that players had to choose between a game changing mob, the Crab, or a mob that gave players an item that a lot (not all) really wanted in the game. The Crab, as it helps players build, has a lot more uses than the Armadillo, which only some players will use fully. I hope people understand my point

It would be interesting to add a "Whistle" to the game, using the horn sound. When using it, your tamed mobs would immediately appear on your side. What happens is that at times, the player may die, or Mob gets lost, and then he doesn't come back to you

You may have already heard this, but we thought it would be interesting if you could paint your wolf's armor, so you can differentiate it from your friend's wolf.

It would be interesting if the wolf was quicker to follow you. If by chance you end up having to run away from a player, it's interesting that the wolf is able to follow you at the same speed, since the wolf usually stays behind, and this can make your enemy attack your wolf, killing it

Armadillo meat and frog meat would be interesting. As it is super easy to get Armadillo scales, it would be interesting if we could also eat them later

If wolves are going to fight you, you better have some way to not beat your own wolves
It is very likely that, while you are attacking a mob, your wolf will get in front, and you will end up accidentally hitting it. Maybe, you can't attack them while they attack a mob

It would be more interesting if there were color variations of Armadillos in Minecraft, like axolotls are

Other tammed animals like cats and parrots should have their hp increases like wolves in the last snapshot. Tammed animals should not be directly killable by the player who tammed them (should not he affected by the sweeping edge of sword, and also hitting them with the hand or weapons should not do damage, only knockback. They should be affected by arrows, like normal.). Tammed animals, while not sitting, should charge the chunk they are in or anything else that makes them to be able to teleport through oceans or after flying with elytra far away. Tammed parrots should not get out of your shoulder when falling, they should only get out if the falling is larger than the fall damage, or just when the player recives damage (it's so annoying that the parrot gets out of you just because you jumped or because you went one block down). Tammed cats should not be able to be killed by creepers or creepers should not be able to explode if there is a cat in its exploding radius (if they can be killed by creepers it's because they don't do their work well). Tammed animals not sat down, should follow the player through dimensions and be afraid of fire, lava and high places. Tammed parrots should fly up so far away if the player or the parrot is hit by a mob or a player, and return after the danger is out. Tammed animals should go behind the player after its health decays into certain amount. A tammed wolve should not continue atacking a mob if is sat down and get up again.

If you're not going to add termites and let armadillos eat spider eyes, then so be it. However, I don't think spiders should run away from armadillos regardless if it is funny or not. Minecraft's spiders are huge, and could eat an armadillo if they wanted to. Eating the eyes of a spider doesn't seem like a good enough reason for them to be afraid of armadillos.

L armatura non è molto forte e protettiva. Secondo me si dovrebbe per esempio trasformarla in ferro, oro o diamante

There should be a way for your wolf not to attack your friend's wolf, or your friend itself. I went to the trial chambers with a friend of mine, and the wolves were more of a hindrance than a help, attacking my friend, or attacking each other

The Armadillo isn’t very exciting in my opinion. Once you’ve got enough Armadillo scutes, it’s just another animal in the game. Maybe it’s because I still think the Crab is the better animal and I was disappointed that it’s not going to be added into the game any time soon but, when seeing it, the Armadillo didn’t really excite me. It doesn’t look right when it’s head and feet stick out when it’s rolled up and it’s head is almost fully submerged when it’s in the water. It makes the Armadillo look like it can breathe underwater. Also, some of its noises sound horrible.

I don’t really like the look of the wolf armour either. It makes my wolf look like it’s going mountain biking or skateboarding, which I don’t like, and it doesn’t make me want to take it out to fight monsters at all. I thought that a benefit with wolf armour would be that you could tell the difference between each wolf with dyes or armour trims but you can’t even do that with it.

I’m unimpressed with both. Like I said earlier, it could be because I wanted the Crab instead. I still think that the Crab and the Penguin should be added as well. 42% voted for the Armadillo but 58% didn’t vote for it. They voted for the Crab or the Penguin leaving them a bit disappointed. Sorry for bringing up the mob vote again but I just wanted to make this point

I think armadillos should have another update: Be more common, can swim, and if you attack them you lose 3 hearts. Their shell is protective meaning if you punch them it still won’t hurt them. Only way you can hurt them with their shell on and not lose 3 heart’s either is by using an iron, diamond, and netherite tools. If you shoot them with an arrow while they are in a ball, it bounces back. So please update the armadillo.

It'd be nice if you could use a brush on wolf armor like how you can on armadillos, except not for scutes but just to help clean them up. Having the feeling of tending to/petting your dog would be amazing!
Also, now that many wolf variants have been added, the dye might look better/less busy if it coats the entire wolf armor instead of just in strips.

When it comes to brushing Armadillos for scutes, something feels off. The current system seems imbalanced and doesn't quite make sense. However, I believe there are ways to improve it. Perhaps making the brushing process take longer and adding an animation could make it feel more rewarding. On the other hand, removing the scute brushing feature altogether might be the best option. As it stands now, it feels like a trade-off between brushes and scutes, rather than a natural, enjoyable process. Although I do appreciate the fact that Armadillos drop scutes over time, it seems redundant to keep one when I can acquire enough scutes for my wolves by spam-brushing ten of there biome. By making these changes, the process of obtaining scutes could be more engaging and balanced, making it a more enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

Hello Minecraft people, my name is Pedro Henrique and I have an idea for the wolf 🐺 in version 1.21 in the next update I wanted players to place chests on tamed wolves, whether with armor or without armor. As in the 2 mobs the donkey 🫏 is the mule when asleep. For players who have many items in their inventory, store the items in the chest in the tamed wolves. When we tamed the wolf and had the chest in my hand, the name will be put in the chest and we will remove the agent and press on it, it will show the lives or resistance if he has the armor, just take it out without needing the scissors ✂️ then we will just remove the The wolf dies and he drops the chest if he has items saved and he drops the items we put in. So what do you think of this idea of mine, I hope you like it and add it to Minecraft.

You should make iron, diamond, and netherite wolf armor by combining the wolf armor and the ingot in an anvil
