Ocean Currents and Boat Linking

Ocean Currents - Ocean paths between biomes of opposite climate that greatly accelerate boats. They could be bidirectional or have another parallel current of opposite direction. These currents could be periodic and predictable with some sort of system.

Boat Linking - Make boats linkable with leads. This would allow transport of multiple mobs and chest boats. Combined with currents, mass transport could be much easier than before. Since the currents would connect biomes of opposite climate, it would make biome hunting much easier and predictable.
