Paint away are pain..

It would be extreamly cool if we could paint are own paintings. Not only could we keep the old ones but we could make new ones for every one to see. While map art is nice, it can be very Tedious when your in survival. I give to you my ideas. We can add the paint by using dyes. No need for somthing new like a crafting recipe. We can just use dye. No items by the name of paint. Then we can can have a wood piece to place the dye opon. For each pixel painted on the paper, a small amount of paint on that wood piece gets used up. So you will have to keep placing more dye on it. If that sounds too hard to code, It could also just be infinite. It's all up to you. We could use this to make art competitions to in some servers. And make art in the game over all easier. Not every one is going to go out of there way to make map art. And the map art kinda ruins the land scape over all. The old paintings can still be in game as collectibles in mine shafts or in villager trades. Mabye even gotten by fishing. So over all.. if this gets added it might just solve alot of problums with 2d art inthis game.
