Minecraft Bedrock Edition Update/ Legacy Console Selection

Java Edition players have the ability to swap between updates. Although Bedrock Edition hasn't had as long of a development history as Java Edition, why can't this be applied to Bedrock Edition? Furthermore, for console players, add the ability to switch back to Legacy Console Edition on all platforms it was available on which support Bedrock (Maybe not change updates in this version, but that'd definitely be a plus). I feel like such nostalgic versions of Minecraft shouldn't just be available to SOME Playstation users. The ability to change updates and swap between editions could be grouped into the "Editions" button that some PS users have on their Bedrock title screens.
