Please add an /undoclear command.

I have accidentally deleted my inventory many times typing /clear with the mistaken idea that it would make the weather clear or clear the chat log.  Unfortunately there is no way to recover lost inventory after making this mistake.  It would be appreciated if the /clear command would take a snapshot of the target player's inventory before deleting everything. This snapshot could then be restored with /undoclear if such a mistake has been made.

I have tried restoring the .dat_old file for my player inventory, but I have been unable to restore my inventory after accidentally deleting it.

The /clear command needs better safety to mitigate accidental inventory deletion.

    Developers please make a command /undoclear so my items can be returned I have accidentally type the command /clear because I wanted to clear the chat and after I typed this command my items had been deleted.

    Yet another player who has destroyed their entire survival inventory because of this command. Apparently the command to clear the chat is the utterly incomprehensible F3+D, and /clear (the command that should clear the chat) is actually the "instantaneously, and without warning, delete your inventory with no logs of what got deleted nor any way to undo it" command. Cool. Great. Love that.
