Trying out Minecraft's new Trial Chambers was enjoyable, but there's room for improvement. They aren't perfect but hopefully they can be used.
-
Control Mechanism for Trial Spawners: Implement right-click activation and allow adjustable difficulty by choosing the number of participants.
-
Room Navigation: Add multiple entrances and create a clear pathway with copper bulbs to avoid confusion.
-
Waxing Difficulty: Adjust waxing ease and consider making unwaxing more challenging, except for specific items like copper bulbs.
-
Location-Dependent Challenges: Introduce location-dependent difficulty, with progression or randomization making chambers harder, larger, and featuring more mobs with better loot.
-
Variety in Trial Chambers: Enhance chambers with different themes, like a Swamp Trial Chamber with overgrowth, water, and swamp-specific mobs. Create connections between chambers for a more extensive experience.
-
Replayability and Incentives: Increase replayability with better loot, evolving mobs, and block regeneration. Occasionally have Trial Spawners drop valuable items like diamonds, and consider adding exclusive items.
-
Breeze Rewards: Provide unique rewards for facing breezes, such as exclusive items to add excitement.
-
Healing Time: Allow sufficient time for healing, especially near strays, making survival challenging without adequate healing time.
