Taming Bats and making them more useful

With the new update in appearance the bats are getting I thought it would be a good opportunity for the bats to receive other features like being able capture them in boats and leads to being able to tame them with apples or seeds like real life fruit bats, the tamed bat would follow the player around and scream hysterically to warn the player of hostile mobs that are near by and if the player is attacked by another player or hostile mobs the bat would defend its owner by biting the enemy. Turning the most useless mob into the most useful mob.
