As it is right now, a sculk sensor will give an output of 13 from hearing a note block of any pitch. I propose that the output should be based on pitch. For example, a note block with a pitch 9 should output of 9 signal strength from a sculk sensor. This would allow sending sculk signals and decoding them with calibrated sculk sensors to be much easier and more practical.
