Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Ice Lantern Block

Combining ice with a torch in the crafting table would make an ice lantern block. I think it should possibly be kind of transparent, and it would have a light level below 15, somewhere between 9 to 14.

It would look great and be very useful in snowy or ice-builds, especially considering there's not that many ice blocks in the game.

I'm not sure if the recipe should use regular ice (because it tends to melt easily) or packed ice (because its not see-through).
