This suggestion may be too broad, but I felt it a good idea given some of the negativity seen from the mob vote and such. Rather than focusing so much on adding new mobs, it would be great to see improvements and additions made to existing ones. Details such as:
- Dogs wagging their tails occasionally, lying down after sitting for a certain amount of time, barking at hostiles, and retreating if damaged too much.
- Cats arching their backs when hissing at hostile mobs, randomly pouncing at grass and/or other blocks/mobs. Lying down on the floor like they do on beds, maybe different positions - ei. on their back.
- Chickens pecking the ground.
- Cows eating grass like Sheep do.
- Skeletons drawing their bows to shoot. (a lot like players)
- Zombies having more of a lunge-like attack, rather than just throwing their arms up.
- A little more ambitious, but perhaps mobs such as wither skeletons swinging their swords at players.
- Overall more types of attacks for existing hostile mobs.
A lot of this kind of fits into the idea of a Combat Update. Improved mechanics of combat on both sides, players and hostile mobs that may be rather basic.
I hope this suggestion isn’t too vague, it’s for the most part a suggestion to the direction I feel Mojang should go with mobs and other features, inspired by the charm of their other games, MC Dungeons and MC Legends. I guess we’ll see what happens. God bless!
