What: Charged Weapon/Tool attacks are specialized moves that can turn the tables in a tense battle for PvP and PvE. They will be different for every Weapon/Tool and can apply certain effects to the user or the target.
How: To charge an attack you would need to crouch and hold down the "place block/use tool" keybind/button. Your EXP bar will change to the color of your tool's ore, the bar will charge up (like the horse jump bar) and the user lets go and they perform the charged move. The charged move will have a unique 1 to 2 second animation according to the tool being selected. For Example: I pull out my sword at the approaching Iron armored Zombie. I crouch and hold down my "place block" keybind/button, I hold it until it reaches a "max damage/efficiency" point, and I pounce forward and slice the Zombie's legs giving it Slowness. And once slowed down, I bring in a "Normal" critical end to finish the Zombie.
Why: Minecraft combat has been recently... choppy. It's just a player running stiffly swinging their right arm up and down. So I think to improve this each battle needs more strategy and cinematic like. And the animations don't need to be much, just something that cleary differs from the basic swing. If combat were like this then alot of PvP lovers would be more creative and strategic with their plays. Battles would be even more exciting to watch and be in.
Thank you for taking your time to read this, and I would love to have any feedback!
