Quality of Life focused BIG update

I think one of the next future updates should be focused on Quality of Life.

Enhancing features that already exist
Adding more than a couple new mobs, hostile and not hostile. (Perfect opportunity to add some mobs that lost votes too).
Ambience features (Opportunity to reintroduce fireflies as an ambient mob rather than frog food, and add the much-sought-after COLORED LIGHTING mechanic).
In addition to new mobs, new food items! Diversify our menu in Minecraft, maybe add a cooking mechanic with recipes and such.
In addition to enhancing features, we could also enhance biomes. Adding new flora and fauna to existing biomes. (Maybe some new trees in existing biomes as well?).
This would also be an amazing opportunity to create village types for other biomes. (Like a Jungle village, or a Cherry Blossom Village, etc).
Speaking of flora and trees, we could add tea and juice! We have milk, but it doesn’t do much in the way of hunger. Stews aren’t all that exciting either. It would be a great opportunity to add a tea tree and more fruit trees/bushes. Perhaps also we could make cherry blossom trees even more enticing by adding a way to collect their blossoms for a tea? Plus, I know myself and many others have only DREAMED of fruit trees.
In way of ambient items, gravestones! No, not when you die. It’s a new “structure” similar to the desert well where it is basically useless but adds ambience, we could add random grave sights!
