“Diaries” in structures

You should be able to find “diaries” in structures supposedly written by an explorer many years ago. They would give helpful tips and hints about items and mobs. They might also give hints about future updates that haven’t been released yet. Of course, they would not be available In the creative inventory and diaries would only have a 5-10% of spawning in structures. They would be helpful for players who just started and have no idea what to do, as I once was like. And they should be most common in the trial chambers coming in 1.21. I got this amazing idea from a book called “The Island” thanks!

    I smell lore. The books can be from an ancient builder of that place and time. Different structures can have different books detailing tiny hints to lore. Emphasis on tiny in order to not give away the whole lore.

    Thats a great idea! Maybe they should also be in Strongholds to warn the players about the end, Ancient Cities to explain the Warden and shriekers, and Ruined Portals to help players discover the nether. Maybe even in villages to explain underused features you might not discover on your own.
