I started out playing Minecraft on Bedrock edition. I'm sure my experience starting on console/Bedrock is not unique, and it has given myself and others the idea that some Bedrock features are also on Java. These Bedrock features are some of my favorite things in Minecraft, and it's so sad to me to play on java-bedrock servers, and not be able to see my favorite things.
Some of my favorite features include;
-Cauldrons having potion usage
-Cauldron functionality on Bedrock in general
-Snowy leaves
-Bonemeal on flowers for infinite 1-tall flowers
-Fortune being usable on 2-tall flowers
-Bedrock's fishing rod durability
-Trident's functionality with Impaling in water causing more damage for all mobs
-Potion of Decay in the Creative menu, I find it to just being super interesting to exist
-Biome water colors
-The cheaper barrel recipe
-The use of a controller for Bedrock edition
And other things. These are all very small details that kept me playing Bedrock for years. It also makes me very sad to go on Java servers, because people don't get t see these amazing, small details. I also personally have nerve issues that make playing on mouse and keyboard painful, so playing on Bedrock is a must for my quality of life.
I would like to see Bedrock features come to Java, rather than the erasure of Bedrock features to line up with Java. Adding these to Java would be a small, but very easy way to drum up positive talk about Minecraft, by adding to quality of life for all Players.
