If it is fine, given how Wolf Armor has been wanted for years and how the Armadillo won, I have a couple ideas for it that may or may not become true.
1. Since the Armadillo was said to be shy, I think it would be cool if you could befriend or tame it, since some parts of the US and South America have them kept as pets and it would be nice so that the Armadillo isn't hiding from the Player 24/7.
2. Along with their ability to shed scutes, Armadillos rolled up into a ball could be picked up for easier transportation or rolled like a bowling ball to scatter hostile mobs.
3. As said in the title, Wolf Armor made from Armadillo Scutes could be given the same enchantments as normal armor with some enchantments exclusive to it to further keep wolves safe.
4. Wolf AI could be improved/revamped to better compliment the addition of Armadillos. If you add the tamable Armadillo Idea, wolves and armadillos could even tag team against hostile mobs they're battling.
