Lockable doors (copper doors)

When the new copper doors were shown I noticed that it looked like they have a lock on them, maybe they could add a special item like a key that could be used to lock or unlock these doors.

    I feel like Key activated doors would be so cool to have. Especially for secret bases maybe even making a variant of the copper door that allows you to assign a key to it, so only your key can unlock it.

    Perhaps the key can work like the compasses linked to the block of magnetite, this case being a key linked to the copper door.

    Maybe even having keys of different states of oxidation for each variant of the copper doors, or have different key hole shapes in the locks of different oxidized doors and having each key variant match the keyhole.

    If this is added, I don't think the trial key should be used.

    Eu tenho uma ideia de como abrir essas portas:
    1. Para deixar ela trancada tem que ter um botão, alavanca ou placa de pressão de cobre
    2. Para abrir-las precisam de algum item que possa interagir com os botões, alavancas e placas de cobre pressão de cobre,ou o Copper golem
    3. Poderia ter alguns Copper golens presos nas Trials Chambers para você libertá-lo,e assim ele vai tornar o seu amigo e irá te seguir,e com eles, você pode abrir pedir para eles abrirem as portas de cobres que estão trancadas

    An idea: you could craft a key with with sticks and iron and when you right click on the door, it sorta enchants the key like with the compass in the lodestone. Then it is forever assigned to this door. They could be some thing hard in the crafting recipe that makes the door hard to break (ancient debris, obsidian or THE VOLT) and when its broken it produces a redstone signal for security system.

    All the doors in the game have locks, I think it would be better if they could be opened with redstone, as well as the iron doors.

    Support. Copper doors should feel more like metal than wood, and the lock will help map makers.

    i firmly believe that ability to lock entities (Doors / Chests) should've been added a long time ago.

    it's only with the likes of Spigot or Bukitcraft servers did we get Plugins that allowed such behavour.

    What about a reverse redstone door, they can be opened by hand but when powered are locked to their state?

    this would be a great way to use extra trail keys. perhaps it should work how you have to name the door and the key the same thing to open. this should also work for chests.

    Yes this would be perfect to just let you in but not mobs. Maybe it could just be you can open it by hand but Villagers, Piglins, etc. can’t.
