Minecraft should add seasons for diferrent biomes.
In temperate biomes (plains, forest, etc) Add 4 seasons.
Spring: Grass and foliage have a yellowish green colour. Days are longer than nights. Climate is cold at early spring. Temperature is raising, to have hot days at late spring.
*Summer solstice (spring-summer) Longest day and shortest night.
Summer: Grass and foliage have a dark green colour. Day are longer than nights. Climate is hot.
*Autumn equinox (summer-autumn) Day and night have the same length.
Autumn: Grass and foliage have a reddish colour. Days are shorter than nights. Climate is hot at early autumn. Temperature is decreasing, to have cold days at late autumn.
*Winter solstice (autumn-winter) The shortest day and the longest night.
Winter: Grass and foliage have a brown color. Days are shorter than nights. Climate is cold and can snow in temperate biomes.
*Spring equinox (winter-spring) Day and night have the same length.
Cold biomes can have snow in spring and autumn, Polar days at the summer solstice (days without night) and polar nights at the winter solstice. (nights without day)
Hot biomes: Wet season (summer): Grass and foliage have green colours. It can rain in savannas, deserts and mesa biomes.
Dry season (winter) Grass and foliage have dry colors (brown, yellow...) It cannot rain in jungles.
Hot biomes don't change length of day.
