Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Geothermal vents

These geothermal vents can be found in deep underwater caves where lava is near. Getting close to them deals half heart damage, much like how staying on a magma block deals damage. Adding more environment to an empty underwater cave. Can be obtained using a pickaxe with Silk Touch.

    I love the idea of geothermal vents to expand on this for different biomes you could sea them in oceans or atop of cold mountains. I would love to randomly walk into these 👍
