During all these years, one thing that has held back the development of new versions of the game has been having to program them in Java and Bedrock at the same time. I propose that you should make a definitive version of Minecraft that is compatible with PC, mobile and consoles. The problem with Bedrock is that it is mainly made for mobile and console players, so, for Java players it feels awkward or doesn't feel the same.
I propose that they modify the Bedrock version so that it resembles as much as possible the interface, gameplay, server options, skins, etc. to Minecraft Java, or failing that, create a new version of Minecraft in a language dedicated to video games like C++ (as well as Bedrock) and that this could be the "Minecraft: Definitive Edition".
And something completely essential, that if you get to do it, listen to the community even more than you do, ask what changes you think are good and what not. Do something similar as you did with the last snapshots, show the changes you have implemented in this case, to the definitive version of minecraft and ask the players what changes they liked or what changes they don't, what to add or remove, etc. This will be the best decision in the long run if you want to keep Minecraft for many years to come.
