Above everything, Minecraft values education. One way to mix education with fun Minecraft gameplay is an in-game encyclopedia. This would be an item that you can only receive from a librarian villager that tracks everything you’ve encountered. Zoom in on a specific block, biome, or mob with a spyglass (maybe click a scan button when zoomed in with spyglass) to log the item, mob, or biome you’ve found into the encyclopedia, that adds an educational description and item facts about your new discovery. To make this more useful in game, a fully completed encyclopedia can grant an achievement. Give a fully completed encyclopedia to an allay to receive special extra rare items. (Possibly a crown that gives players special trails, special elytra designs, or a super rewarding item that makes the player feel proud of their impressive feat.) Adding this would make Minecraft more interactive and fun, as well as encourage players to fully discover all the possibilities Minecraft has to offer.
