This is not a post asking for hostile Tigers.
Introducing animals into Minecraft seems ideal, but Mojang's rules demand they serve a purpose and avoid hostility. While this discourages animal cruelty, it can be limiting. Tigers, often seen as ferocious, are misunderstood. They can and actually do coexist peacefully with humans. Sumatran Tigers are a part of the subspecies "Sunda" and are the last of their subspecies. There are also only 600 left... in the world. So why not include these majestic creatures in the game? Mojang's hesitance may be rooted in outdated notions that tigers, lions, and the like are hostile, but in reality, they are intelligent and kind creatures, much like how we misunderstood the hyena. or technical challenges. However, past updates, like the introduction of pandas, show that Mojang was willing to partner up with WWF, but there are more than three times more pandas in the world than tigers... Adding the critically endangered Sumatran tiger could raise awareness about conservation. They need not be portrayed as hostile; instead, players could nurture cubs to adulthood, fostering empathy. Additionally, Mojang could infuse ancient folklore and mythology from the Far East, adding a touch of magic and mystique. The tiger cub could be friendly if the player spends a certain amount of time and food on the cub, and adult tigers irl hardly care about people, so they would be passive like the polar bear. I think theres a lot of potential.
