I think its time java got some of the same love bedrock get.
In Bedrock Edition farming is much easier when it comes to bone meal. with sugarcane and all flower types included, (Maybe more im not sure) bedrock gives the player more of an opportunity to create interesting farms and builds to keep these renewable. Flowers i stress the most because in java to build a flower farm, you need to either build several in different locations to ensure you can get every type available. Or use third part clients to find the perfect spot on your seed, sometimes thousands of blocks away just to build a farm that gets all flowers. Meanwhile bedrock users can just bone meal the flowers they found to duplicate them giving much more options for creativity with dyes and decoration. as well as interesting red stone designs to farm them all. And Bedrock users have a similar advantage with sugarcane being able to ramp up the speed of their farms and create more intricate machines to farm.
Now i understand one of the things people like with minecraft is the exploration and having to explore to get more flowers might be fun for some but not for all. giving the option to bone meal more plants means the players who want to explore still can, while the redstoners can build their farms and automate away if they want. minecraft should be a game with endless possibility but some are restricted to bedrock players
its time for better parity on both ends but change starts somewhere.
