Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Coal & Diamonds

So I've been thinking and why not let us be able to compress or turn a stack of coal into diamonds even if the resulting number is like 3 or 4 from a stack of 64 coal

So, first off, in order to make diamonds from coal/charcoal it needs extreme heat and extreme pressure, so maybe put a stack of coal/charcoal in a blast furnace with lava as fuel (however long lava lasts), and receive a diamond ore block?
