chain mail armor upgrade

Chain mail armor in minecraft is far from the most common item. It cannot be made, however, according to its characteristics it is inferior to iron armor. I think that the chain mail armor needs to be upgraded.
The strength of chain mail armor should be the same as that of iron, and the protection is less, however, enchantments on chain mail should be more effective. I.e. chain mail armor with protection 3 should be 1 unit better than that of iron armor. Also, good enchantments for chain mail armor on the enchantment table should occur more often than enchantments for other armor. Thus, ordinary chain mail armor will lose to iron armor, but if it is pumped, which will be easier than iron armor, chain mail will be better than iron armor
