Copper Pipes

I would love to see a system integrated that uses similar block behaviors to that of the end rod and iron bars, but as pipes. There could be pipes that work like hoppers but also ones that work like redstone dust. You could even do different color variants based on the material used. I could even see wood pipes being so simple. Bamboo would be perfect for hopper pipes, and copper would be amazing looking for redstone pipes.
