Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Minecraft Flying Machines

There are minecarts and boats, but no flying machines! How about a helicopter or airplane?

    This would not fit in well vanilla as it doesn't make any sense. Arguably, the game is set in a somewhat medieval era as there are swords, axes, bows, and other tools/weapons relevant with this time period. Adding something such as a 'plane,' 'helicopter,' or other modern invention would not fit in well with the surrounding mechanics. I don't mean to diminish your idea as there are many similar things to what you are suggesting such as: the elytra, redstone and slime block flying machines, and even various mods which could allow you to explore non-vanilla experience. Hope this helps! :)

    Those are too modern. We already have elytra and redstone flying machines.
