Support Mac OS Sonoma's Game Mode

Minecraft doesn't support the new Game Mode feature of MacOS Sonoma.

Description of the Game Mode feature:

Game Mode automatically gives games top priority on the CPU and GPU of your Mac, lowering usage for background tasks. And it dramatically reduces latency with wireless accessories, like AirPods and your favorite controllers, for responsiveness you can feel.

The Game Mode feature should automatically be toggled when a game is run in fullscreen. Minecraft might not run in true fullscreen on MacOS.

This would be cool. Minecraft already runs well enough on my mac now, but it would be cool to see how much faster it would run in game mode.

From my understanding of Apple's documentation Game Mode should enable any time a game is in full screen, whether that's done through the green button or through a full screen option in the game's menu.

I'd love for this feature to be enabled, it's great in other games.

2024 UPDATE: It seems to be working on my MacBook. You just have to click the full screen button on the Java application. Make sure you are updated to the latest macOS and Minecraft version before you test it out.
