Having our characters be able to have wheelchairs (electric and manual [not hospital chairs, ultralightweight manual chairs]), canes, rollators, etc. as accessories (or addituonal leg options) would be amazingly inclusive and help a lot of disabled Minecraft players feel more at home in their minecraft worlds.
Understandably, there won't be any ramps in Minecraft - hence why these mobility devices should be cosmetic, there for inclusivity and accessorizing only, and not necessarily realistic in movement (needing to hop up blocks and all). For example, with a manual wheelchair, it could replace the back accessory slot. When walking, instead of moving legs & arms forward and back, the legs would sit still in the chair, arms going back and forth in unison (mimicking pushing a chair), and wheels animated to look like they are moving. The character would jump and climb the same way they normally would, just without leg animations (as they would be in the chair, unmoved).
As a wheelchair user who plays many video games, I am well aware that we disabled folks are often overlooked when it comes to character development and customization. Or, any allowance of visible disability in-game is cast aside when it is wrongfully assumed that we want to be abled-bodied in our fantasy worlds. Some do, but many of us wish to be represented and included.
Please add mobility aids to Minecraft character customization 🙏 And not just as a skin either! We want our own disabled characters!
