Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Distinguishing by wood colors

When you craft a shield or other item with wood the wood always has the same color. I thought it would be more interesting if the type of wood you used in crafting would change the appearance of the things you crafted such as shields, weapons and tools and boats

    I'd love chests for specific woods. A spruce chest or cherry chest would be my fav. Though, it would be a problem for crafting chest boats. There'd be so many variations
