Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Bamboo Mat

The bamboo mat would be a new type of carpet made with two bamboo and two string. The recipe would result in 3 mats (like the carpet recipe). If items were thrown onto it, they would fall through. However, players would not. This would provide an alternate way to collect items, but you'd still need a hopper to filter them.
