Hi. Recently, you posted EULA updates that have garnered some backlash amongst the communities I am apart of. These changes have drastically affected how content creation will be produced and published and frankly, all of us are scared.
Your naming guidelines completely blacklists the "Minecraft but" series, and the requirement of having it be "a secondary title" is vague and leaves people confused on if their content fits under your guidelines. People's livelihoods are at risk because of the new guidelines you have established.
One of the concerns we have when it comes to monetization as well as overall production of content comes from the people who use Minecraft as a storytelling medium (Machinimas, Roleplays, MCTV). With your essential guidelines, that seemingly limits the types of stories that we are able to make with your game, but at the same time confuses us on what we can make with it. Does having a character cuss count as obscene or harmful? What constitutes as violence? Minecraft is already a violent game, having you rely on killing to get tasks done, but where is the line drawn for content? People make their money and LIVING off the content they produce and these changes to the EULA are forcing them to change their entire demographic, production style, and content.
Either clarify what can or cannot be used, or reverse these EULA changes entirely. This is a harmful gesture to the content creation community and will not help anyone in the long run.
