What we've seen from the snapshot regarding the 1.20.2 villager trading rework is all very troubling. I think most players agree that villagers are a little over powered, but they also love it. Players know if they spend enough time setting up a trading system that when they die they can get back up and running with enchanted gear, food, weapons, tools, etc. in a much shorter amount of time. But we are talking about a lot of setup time. Villagers are already very difficult to move, breed, convert, and trade with. Now we are going to be required to move them across our world? I've seen a lot of communications about people's opinions on this snapshot and everyone is concerned this will suck the joy out of villager trading and enchanting. Current players are also concerned for new players in the game. Learning how villagers work is hard enough, but how are new players supposed to figure out that they need to move a villager across their world to get mending? Additionally, more anvil combinations will be necessary and enchanting things with the underpowered enchanted book trades will lead to a lot of "too expensive" upgrades. Please reconsider this update, the players don't want it.
