If this change for librarian villagers is going to go through. It is absolutely imperative for players to have an easier method to transport villagers. Currently the only way move live villagers from one place to another is with a minecart or a boat. Both of these methods can be cumbersome and very slow at times. It's true that zombie villagers can spawn anywhere, and that players can trap, and cure them in a specific biome. But this only leaves curing zombie villagers as the only real effective alternative to get individual villagers into a new village. Perhaps players could have the ability to put leads on villagers. Or even better an improved villager-player trust mechanic could be developed. If the player has traded enough or protected a village for a certain amount of time. Maybe there could be a random chance for an individual villager to agree to follow the player temporarily until they have entered a new biome Village complete with a bell and beds. So like a player escort mission in survival. It is an interesting idea to make librarian villagers specialized for their specific biome. Given that players would have to construct new jungle and swamp villages in the perspective biomes, and because swamp/jungle villages wouldn't spawn normally. I feel it is extremely important to consider having a more enjoyable gameplay mechanic to move live villagers. It would make a players actions in a village more engaging. This is just my opinion, feel free to add your own.
