HOW DO I USE QUICK PLAY?

Quick Play is currently an experimental feature. Follow these steps to use it:

    1. To enable it, click ‘Settings’ in the lower left corner of the Launcher.
    2. On the Settings page, scroll down to the ‘Experimental Features’ section, and toggle the ‘Enable Experimental Quick Play Feature’ option.
    3. Once enabled, navigate to the Minecraft: Java Edition section of the Launcher. A new ‘Quick Play’ bar will now be visible in the Launcher’s upper right corner.
    4. Within that bar, select ‘Quick Play’ to expand the bar.
    5. Your five most recently played Java Edition worlds will appear in a list. Click one to jump directly into that world from the Launcher!

Note: Must play a world with this feature enabled for it to be eligible for quick play.

As to feedback, very snappy and a welcome feature particularly with multiple installs.

I am disappointed to find out however that custom server icons from the server list are not utilized.

Just given the generic grass block instead.

This makes it much more difficult to locate a particular server in quick play.

Would love to see this in Minecraft For Windows, Dungeons and Legends. For the base game of Minecraft I think there should also be servers in the quick play menu, also world invites from friends inside the quick play menu would make it easier to play with friends. World templates should also be in the quick play menu for fast world creation.

This is a terrific new feature to the launcher. Hope to see this a part of the regular game experience soon!

Just joining the world and it being added seems a bit unintuitive. A better solution could be adding them manually by selecting a version (quick play compatible), name, change icon if wanted, and a world/server/realm.

Adding them manually could be less confusing for those who don't know about pinning by worlds just cycling around the last 5.

For servers, It'd be nice if the server logo was an option for the icon.

I really like what you guys have done with this and while I think you could change a few things, I wouldn't mind seeing it implemented as it currently is.

How hard is Quick Play to access and use?
I think placing it in the corner of the launcher doesn't make it easy to understand its function. Maybe it would be better next to the play button.

Are there any key functionalities you feel are missing?
Being able to change the color of the buttons.
Some difference between the multiplayer, singleplayer and custom bars (like little icons next to the buttons).
Difference between the most recent and the pinned bars (perhaps making the pinned ones a little bigger or a different shape).
    Pin worlds from the launcher.
    Create desktop shortcuts.
Have keyboard shortcuts for both the Quick Play Bar and the Main Play Bar.

Are there any functionalities you see here that you don’t think you need?
The "Show Title Initial" option, I would prefer to choose the letter I want as an icon along with the blocks (and mobs :P) as well as being able to write my own title.

This is good features but i think the placement of quick play button is kinda hard to access. it would be good if you put it next to the Profile Launcher with name Quick Play then if its click it will display like on profile launcher World name on the top as Title then the Loader name below like:

    Creative Testing World
    MC 1.20.1

I think the idea is pretty cool, but brief, and to push the envelope a little further, I'd suggest you should make a quick play for all versions of the game, so players can connect to a world/server of any version without changing client.

Ótima ideia! Minecraft é perfeito e sou muito grato por esse jogo existir.

Uma sugestão é habilitar a mudança de SKINS dentro do jogo.

Not bad. It would be nice if it loaded faster, but it does save a few keystrokes.

I obsoletely LOVE this feature, but there is only one problem that I've noticed: if quickplay is showing ha hardcore world, the gamemode display shows it as survival. this should be an easy enough problem to solve, so I hope this gets fixed!

It's a fine idea, Not particularly useful, but I can see how some people may like it.

One issue I had is that when launching using quickplay, it launches the game, but the window is not in fullscreen. So I still have to pause and maximize the window to continue playing.

it would be great if there was a way to quickplay directly from the desktop without opening the launcher

I find it quite a comfortable feature for Minecraft players! I would find it quite comfortable and fast to access my hardcore world in a more efficient and simple way, or to quickly enter a public server, although I think it would be great if there was an option where it allows you to change the version or simply configure certain worlds or servers for that your Minecraft runs on a specific version.

For example: If I want to enter a survival world that I have in 1.20.1, I simply configure it so that the world opens in that version, or if I want to enter Hypixel, I can configure the Launcher so that it recognizes that I want to have Minecraft 1.8 open on that version.

Apart from all that, I find it a quite useful function!

I would really like to see join links or an easy way to share the Quick Play options with others to make joining Servers easier to unexperienced players.
Of course this could be could be abused but a simple warning should suffice.

    Love it!

A custom icon would be great, and it would be perfect for servers to be able to provide a second png icon (with a fallback on the usual server-icon.png) to customize the button with something that fits the launcher (e.g. the server icon with a transparent background)

I hope it's not a bug because which world we enter will be confused or our worlds will be broken

Great feature with room to improve.

    1. First, the feature wood greatly benefits from a faster launch time. I know this was recently worked on, but I hope there is still room to improve.
    2. Maybe add the functionality to use desktop shortcuts. So the shortcut that is displayed in the launcher can also be placed on your desktop. This wood makes it even faster and easier to launch in the world or server you want.
    3. At the moment, you cannot edit the game version that the world is using. I think it would be very helpful, especially if a new version came out so that you could edit the version set for the world shortcut. For example, if the new 1.20.2 update comes out, you will need to completely change all your pins and icons. A new menu similar to the installation tab could be very helpful.
