New Rock and Ores

The most disappointing thing during Caves and Cliffs was the lack of ores present. All the new cave generation and space, yet we only got copper. Copper was also a disappointment, having very few uses. Amythyst was cool, it was a musical block, but it's also somewhat limited. I think an update focusing on new ores, minerals and rocks should come soon. Tin could be added to give more use to copper, making alloy tools. Copper can be used in Redstone recipes, and Copper oxide fires can be added. Silver can be added, with unique properties to undead mobs. A new gem like Topaz could be added. Marble and limestone could be added. Rock variants like cracked obsidian can add more variety. New caves could come as a result, like a limestone cave. This can be a cave with new generation, or a reused cave with different rock. At the very least I think new goodies to extract from the mine are a must.
