Fishing Update

Fishing could be dependent on the biome, giving a new reason to want to explore with biome specific items. A new structure could be added called “fishing post” found in different biomes and rivers that could have a boat or two parked outside as well as some fishing loot in a barrel inside. And with the new armor upgrades, we could get a new template to find in these rare structures thats related to fishing in some sort. This is a great idea in my opinion as fishing hasnt been updated in a while, and most importantly because it will give players a reason to visit rivers and biomes for specific catches. This update will overall give players even more reasons to explore, which is a big topic in Minecraft right now.
