Totem Pole(s)

Totem poles would fit well with the idea if give the player a new way to tell their stories as well as have good uses. The totem polls could be made out of carved logs or you could find them in trail ruins, each one could have a different shape, mostly animals and mobs heads as the shapes, it could work like a beacon but less effective, it would be an early game beacon. It could also work as a way to summon some new mob(s)/animal(s) or even a boss.  It could also add a new tree type a red cedar (the most commonly used tree to carve a totem into). On the note of shapes that could be used for the pole, there could be bats, blazes, withers, the ender dragon, skeletons, zombies, pigs, cows, etc. The rare ones like the Ender dragon could have some special effects, like keeping Endermen away from a 30x30 space or shooting dragon's breath out of the totems mouth at mobs or maybe in a certain radius, there should be a way to keep it from doing that though so I sugest maybe a lever to turn it off or some other idea.
