An idea I have is to add the mob originally from Minecraft Legends, the Brilliant Beetle. It would be a mount obtained by using the archeology brush in a jungle Trail Ruin (if not already in the game, it could be added). Digging up the items in the jungle Trail Ruin, you'd have a chance to find the Brilliant Beetle egg, similar to how you find the Sniffer Egg. The Brilliant Beetle would be a relatively slow mount, but would be able to climb walls like a spider, and glide using its wings, although the gliding of the Brilliant Beetle wouldn't be anywhere near as good as the Elytra, and would be slow. A late game feature the Brilliant Beetle could have is that they sometimes shed, and when they do, they shed the thing that protects their wings: their elytra. The Brilliant Beetle would drop an item called the elytrium, which could be used to repair an Elytra. Players don't like having to deal with Phantoms, and this Beetle would give players an incentive to use the archeology features in the jungle and be a funner way of obtaining what you need to repair Elytra.
