Farm Update?

I absolutely love playing Minecraft. I enjoy farming my wheat, sugarcane, melons, pumpkins, carrots, beets, sweet berries, and potato's. I do think it would be amazing if there were more crops added to the game. Not only would it spice up the boring plain crops, but it could add greater opportunities for learning. Imagine the farm builds that could come from new crops! I would love to see crops like corn, tomatoes, grapes, sweet potatoes, peas (snow peas, sugar snap peas, etc.) kohlrabi, kale, lettuce, etc. I would also like to see the use of irrigation and fertilizers. I think those additions would make the game perfect.
